Even though the data collected is generally processed in the European Union, the United Kingdom or in Switzerland (which provides a level of protection equivalent to that of the European Economic Area in accordance with the European Commission decision of 26 July 2000), the IOC may also transfer your data, for the Authorized Purposes, to third party recipients, some of which may be based in countries whose laws do not provide data protection equivalent to that offered through the rules in force in the European Union, the United Kingdom and in Switzerland, such as the United States of America. Before transmitting your personal data from Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the European Union to other countries, the IOC implements the protection mechanisms recognised by applicable data protection and privacy laws, such as the use of standard contractual clauses. Please consult the IOC Privacy Policy in case you need more information about this.
The IOC reserves the right to disclose your personal data to third countries without adequate level of data protection pursuant to statutory derogations such as contractual necessity, or based on a judgment or decision rendered by a law enforcement authority or if the IOC believes in good faith that it is required to do so in order to comply with applicable laws.
In order to run the IOC Brand Centre platform and provide you with the associated services in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable terms and conditions, the IOC may share some of your personal data with service providers and third parties, as set forth in section "Who do we share your information with?" in the IOC Privacy Policy, typically in connection with:
